Testimonials
The weekly meetings of the Spanish Novels Club by Walter Freiberg (aka Paco Ardit) are accessible and very enjoyable. Four years ago, I started learning Spanish. I discovered his books and immediately became a fan of his Spanish (learning) books. I was thrilled to meet him in person and learn more about the Spanish language with him and the group via the Internet. Communicating in Spanish with people from different continents is very interesting and surprising. I recommend it to everyone!

I am really enjoying the Spanish Novels Club and feel that my Spanish has improved since I joined the club. I have found the group discussions and the specific exercises to illustrate tricky issues with grammar, tense, and pronunciation to be both interesting and engaging. I particularly like the role playing exercises where we are asked to play the role of a particular character in a given scenario. These sorts of exercises nudge you to think a little more deeply about what you are saying and how you are saying it in Spanish.
